Studies in Physics are full-time and charged.
First degree courses in Physics are accredited by The Polish Accreditation Committee. The academic staff obtained many prestigious prizes (Prize of the Foundation for Polish Science, Hevelius Prize, Prize of Minister of Education and others).
Lectures and classes are conducted in modern lecture halls and rooms. Didactical physical laboratories are equipped with state-of-the-art measurement devices and setups. Computer laboratories enable the students to learn the skills necessary to use the newest informatics techniques.
During the first year of studies there are special courses in physics and mathematics aimed at leveling their knowledge from secondary schools.
The students may apply for various scholarships: scientific and social. There are also programs for international scientific exchange.
The graduate of the Ist degree studies in Physics obtains the BSc degree in Physics. This allows her\him to continue studies (2nd and 3rd degree) in Physics (or related disciplines) in Poland or abroad.


Graduates of first degree studies in Physics can continue their studies by taking the second degree course at Polish and foreign academic institutions.
The graduates are employed in :
- various kinds of research (scientific), diagnostic and other innovative laboratories;
- computer firms;
- research and development firms;
- banks and insurance firms.


Acceptance criteria

School-leaving certificate/high-school diploma grades:  English (0.2), one of the following subjects (0.8) – Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Physics and Astronomy, Geography, Computer Studies, Mathematics.

A minimum of 12 students is required for this course of study to take place.
