Another project involving University of Gdańsk to receive funding from Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme
During a meeting of the Monitoring Committee for the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme, 31 most promising transnational projects were selected. Amongst those positively assessed is the project “COMBINE – Skuteczne modele biznesowe i systemy adaptacji dla wzmocnienia przepływów ładunków w transporcie kombinowanym w RMB uwzględniające innowacyjne technologie i specyfikę regionalną” / “COMBINE – Effective business models and adaptation systems for the strengthening of the movement of goods in combined transport in the Baltic Sea Region, taking account of innovative technologies and regional specifics”, in which the University of Gdańsk is partner. The COMBINE project focuses on combined transport services and the improvement of measures to eliminate the barriers and challenges connected with their wider application in the Baltic Sea Region. The project opts for a new approach to devise and implement intelligent transport solutions for the Baltic Sea Region.
For the UG the project will be headed by Dr hab. Aneta Oniszczuk-Jastrząbek, associate professor from the Faculty of Economics. The funding awarded to the UG amounts to nearly 1.3 million PLN.
