Studies in Physics are full-time, and charged.
Second degree courses in Physics are accredited by The Polish Accreditation Committee. The studies are conducted by the academic staff from the Institute of Theoretical Physics and Astrophysics and from the Institute of Experimental Physics.
The academic staff is involved in many international scientific grants. This ensures the high level of research, allows purchase of state-of-the-art scientific equipment and computers, permits the participation of the staff and students in scientific conferences all over the world. Practical classes are conducted in modern physical laboratories. The research fields concern atomic and molecular physics, lasers, condensed matter, nuclear physics, biophysics, quantum information.
Broad variety of scientific research ensures that the students can gain good theoretical knowledge and practical competences in both theoretical and experimental physics, in computer programming, quantum information.
The students can apply for scientific and\or social scholarships. The graduates of 2nd degree Physics course obtain the MSc degree in Physics.

The graduates can be employed in:
- academic and research institutions;
- various kinds of research (scientific), diagnostic and other innovative laboratories;
- computer companies;
- research and development companies;
- banks and insurance companies.
Graduates of second degree studies in Physics can continue their studies by taking the third degree studies (PhD studies) at Polish and foreign academic institutions.
