If you notice an object (package, bag, device, etc.) of unknown origin left unattended, and you suspect it could be (or contain) a bomb:
- immediately leave the potential danger zone,
- notify the University Security Service at phone number + 48 725 991 245, providing:
- the location where the item was found, its address, and a description of the item that may be an explosive device,
- your name, surname, phone number from which the information is being provided, and the time,
- obtain a clear confirmation of receipt of the notification,
- strictly follow the instructions of the authorities,
- prepare for possible evacuation.
Remember the basic rules:
Do not touch! Do not look!
If you see a "bomb," it "sees" you too, which means you're within its blast range.
Curiosity is dangerous.
Quickly distance yourself from the potential blast area. Along the way, inform as many people as possible in the danger zone or heading toward it (do so calmly to avoid causing panic).
If possible, try to secure the area where the item was found to prevent others from accessing it.
