In the Event of an Evacuation:
- Secure your workspace by turning off electrical and heating devices, closing windows and doors (do not lock them), and immediately leave the room, taking your personal belongings with you.
- Head toward the emergency exit using the designated evacuation routes, marked with green signs and arrows.
- Do not use elevators during evacuation.
- If evacuation routes are heavily smoke-filled, move in a crouched position with your head as close to the floor as possible (where temperatures are lower and there is less smoke).
- If necessary, cover your airways with a cloth dampened with water to make breathing easier and to prevent burns to the respiratory tract.
- Confirm your presence with the evacuation coordinators at the designated assembly point.
- If heavy smoke or fire prevents you from evacuating, choose a location as far as possible from the source of the fire, alert the building’s security guard and the fire department by providing your exact location, and wait for assistance.
