The “Miłość Blondynki” Film Discussion Club, which has been in operation at the University of Gdańsk since 1994, organizes a range of cultural events in the whole Three Cities area, as part of the work of the Academic Cultural Center.
In 2009,it was nominated for a prize awarded by the National Institute of Film Art in the category of Film Discussion Club. In 2006 the Club won the Professor Antoni Bohdziewicz Prize awarded by the Polish Federation of Film Discussion Clubs.
Education and promotion of film culture lie at the heart of the Club’s activities. We present ambitious and interesting movies from Poland and the world. As part of carefully-planned thematic programs, we present original and unusual cycles of movies, which have proved very popular with audiences. Our films should please all lovers of good cinema!
