The “Animus Saltandi” Celtic Dance Group brings together lovers of dance to the beat of Irish and Scottish melodies. We dance traditional and contemporary Irish dances, both group and solo. Scottish Country Dances also form part of its repertoire, as does solo Highland dancing. We also take part in a variety of historical events, at which we present dances from the past and also Maypole dancing.
The members of “Animus Saltandi” constantly develop their skills at workshops in Poland and abroad. They take part in a variety of projects (for example, summer workshops in Prague or this year’s Stage Fire project in Kraków), in festivals, and competitions. But we never forget what are for us the most important things about dance – joy, good fun, passion, and adventure.
