1. Question: I am a EU citizen, how can I apply for my studies and do I have to pay?

Answer: EU citizens can study at the University of Gdańsk on the same basis as Polish citizens. They should contact rekrutacja@ug.edu.pl;. Studying full-time courses in  Polsih, for EU citizens is free of charge.

2. Q: I am not a Polish citizen, but I have a Polish Charter (Karta Polaka), how can I apply and do I have to pay for the studies?

A: If you have a Polish Charter (Karta Polaka) you are treated the same as a Polish citizen as far as studying is concerned. Please contact rekrutacja@ug.edu.pl. Studies in Polish are tuition-free.

3. Q: Are sworn translations of all my documents required?

A: Documents have to be translated by translator. We strongly recommend you to have your documents translated in Polish Embassy or consulate in your country. 

4. Q: Can I apply for a scholarship at the University of Gdańsk?

A: After first year of studies, you can apply for scholarship on the basis of your GPA. 

5. If I pay a tuition fee, but I am not given a visa and as a result I cannot come to study at the University of Gdańsk, will I be entitled to claim my money back?

If it happens so, then the University of Gdańsk will refund the tuition fee.
