English language certificates

Accepted English language certificates

  • International Baccalaureate Diploma or European Baccalaureate Diploma;
  • IELTS with min. overall grade 5.5
  • TOEIC Listening & Reading with min. overall score 785
  • TOEFL IBT with min. overall grade 87 points
  • TOEFL min. 510 points in Paper-Based Test (PBT) supplemented by 3,5 in Test of Written English (TWE)
  • TOEFL min. 180 points in Computer-Based Test (CBT) supplemented by 50 points in Test of Spoken English (TSE)
  • University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations:

              - B2 First (previously: Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE)),

              - C1 Advanced (previously: Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)),

              - C2 Proficiency (previously: Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE));

  • Pearson Test of English (PTE Academic) min. overall score 59 points
  • High school, bachelor, master diploma or transcript of records indicating that English was the language of instruction
  • Bachelor or master diploma in English philology
  • high school, bachelor or master diploma issued in USA, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada
  • confirmation issued by high school or university stating that English was the only medium of instruction

 

Candidates who don't hold one of the documents listed above, can participate in internal English language exam.

I term: June 25th, 2024 (registration open until June 21st, 2024) REGISTRATION CLOSED

II term:  September 4th, 2024 (registration until August 30th, 2024) REGISTRATION CLOSED

Candidate can participate in one term of the exam only.

To register and participate in the exam, candidate must pay the recruitment fee of 85PLN to the account indicated in the IRK system (the fee is non-refundalble in case of failing the exam). The IRK sysytem will ba launched June 3rd. 

Exam will be held online and will consiste of written and oral part. 

Candidates willing to participate in the exam must register by sending an email to fso@ug.edu.pl (title of email: registration for English language exam). The email must include:

-name and surname (as written in passport)

-citizenship

-type and number of identity document

-selected exam term

-confirmation of recruitment fee payment. 

 

A candidate who successfully passed the exam, will receive a certificate to the email address provided in the application for the exam. This document must be uploaded along with other scans in the IRK sysytem, when applying for studies.
