Gdańsk student's halls of residence in the academic year 2026/2027

 

§ 1.

  1. The monthly gross cost of accommodation in UG Student Homes (Polish: ‘DS’) is determined as follows:

  1. children of students, occupying standard places 
  2. spouses who are students of other universities
  3. interns involved in internships organised by the UG, research internships or exchange as part of projects

Accommodation services in student homes subject to 8% VAT for:

  1. spouses who are not students
  2. UG employees
  3. UG graduates
  4. students of other universities
  5. other persons who are not students

  1. Cost of accommodation for an incomplete month shall be calculated from the fifth day of the month for each day of stay, irrespective of the student home to which this cost applies.

  1. The fee for full-time and part-time students using temporary accommodation, on the basis of a certificate from the Dean’s Office confirming the dates of their visit or other circumstances presented by the student justifying the need for accommodation, is 50 zł per night. The price of the accommodation service is exempt from VAT.
  2. The fee concerning persons specified in § 3 of the regulations governing the allocation of places and accommodation in the University of Gdańsk’s halls of residence (including, amongst others, volunteers, examiners and students’ family members) is 60 zł per night for each standard place.
  3. The charge for temporary accommodation (one night) in a room occupied by a student is:
    1)    a person occupying a standard bed – 50 zł per night;
    2)    a person not occupying a standard bed – 35 zł per night.The price of laundry tokens is 6.50 zł (including VAT).
  4. The price of laundry tokens is 6.50 zł (including VAT).
  5. The charge for the loss or damage of a magnetic room key card is 50.00 zł (including VAT), whilst the charge for a physical room key is 100.00 zł (including VAT).
