Who is entitled to priority in obtaining accommodation in a student hall of residence?

Priority is given to a UG student who simultaneously:

  • is in a difficult financial situation
  • whose daily commute to the university would make studying impossible or significantly difficult,
  • who did not graduate with a master's degree in another field of study or from another university.

Who can live in a student hall of residence?

If the limit of places is not filled by students, they can also apply:

  • UG doctoral students and employees,
  • UG graduates up to 2 years after graduation,
  • persons undergoing internships or scientific training at UG,
  • students of other universities.

How to apply for a place in a student hall of residence?

Polish and foreign students continuing their studies apply electronically through the eUniversity portal, under scholarships and dormitories → apply for benefits → Student houses in the current semester

For Harbin students, foreign students beginning their studies and Erasmus exchange students, places are reserved by the staff of the Cooperation and International Relation Office.

Those authorized to apply for a place in a student hall of residence who cannot apply through eUniversity, submit a paper application to the Department of Student Houses and Residence Halls (p. 111, Jana Bazynskiego1A).

How to apply for the summer holiday period?

Only the electronic application system via the eUniversity Portal applies.

In exceptional cases, those who do not have access to eUniversity may submit a paper application directly to the Department of Student and Staff Residence (room no. 30, UG Student Hall of Residence No. 4, Polanki 66 Street) or by email to domystudenckie@ug.edu.pl.

Motivated applications for a period of at least two weeks should be submitted with the attached justification for the stay (mandatory practice, employment contract, contract of mandate, certification of work for the University, certificate from a specialist doctor about ongoing treatment in the Tri-City area or surrounding areas)

Income certificates do not need to be attached to the application.
