Financing

The shortest funded traineeship duration is 60 days and the longest is 150 days.

The amount of the grant is calculated adequately to the duration of the mobility declared in the "Letter of Intent" and is defined in the agreement as the maximum grant. Please note that a longer stay will not increase the grant amount, whereas a stay shorter than stated in the agreement will decrease the grant amount proportionally to the number of days by which the mobility was shortened.

Candidates are advised to have a bank account in EURO (€) currency, in which the ERASMUS+ payments are made. There is no possibility to collect the grant in person.

Only bank accounts established in banks covered by the protection of the Bank Guarantee Fund (BFG) will be accepted for making a transfer:

Entities Covered by Guarantees | BFG

Conditional possibility of transferring a grant to a bank not covered by the BFG guarantee requires prior consultation with the Erasmus+ Office (approx. 4 weeks before the mobility).

The scholarship is paid in two tranches. The first tranche constitutes of approximately 70% of the total grant amount and is transferred to the Participant's bank account within 30 days from the date of signing the agreement between the university and the Beneficiary. The remaining amount is paid after the formal settlement requirements are met in due time, but within 30 days from the date of completing the settlement.

The Erasmus+ programme scholarship is intended to subsidise (not finance) the costs of travel, insurance, accommodation and living abroad.
