Choice of the host institution

A student interested in a traineeship finds the company where they wish to complete the mobility. They have to contact the host directly and ask about the possibility of a traineeship within the Erasmus+ placement scheme.

IMPORTANT! The traineeship cannot be carried out in the country of the student’s citizenship.

The planned placement must take place between 03.10.2022 and 15.09.2023- 1st call and between 02.10.2023-19.09.2024- 2nd call.

! Additional financing available for the less privileged applicants – 250 € per month. A grant will be awarded given the candidate submits a set of application documents along with a certificate from the Fund for Material Assistance for Students and Doctoral Students of the University of Gdansk. The certificate must prove the applicant is receiving a social grant at the time of submitting the application documents.

! Additional financing available for the disabled applicants - 250 € per month. The grant will be awarded given the candidate submits a "disability certificate" for assessment at least 45 days before the start of the mobility. If the mobility is requested less than 45 days before departure, the certificate must be submitted on the day of the application together with the complete set of application documents. The validity of the statement must include the total duration of the planned placement. If due to the degree of disability and individual needs connected with the mobility, the received grant is insufficient, it is possible to receive additional support according to the rules described on the website below. ! "Green travel" financing - 50 € + individual funding covering up to 4 days of a round trip, if applicable. Green travel is a grant for the use of sustainable means of transport such as a train or a bus.

Grants are awarded only after submitting complete application documentation until all allocated funds are exhausted. Documents submitted after all financial means have been allocated, but before the end of recruitment, will be registered on the reserve list. Submitting documents by third parties on behalf of the candidate or booking places via the phone is not permitted.

Application documents must be submitted at least 10 working days before the planned start date of the mobility. 

  1. The Scholarship Holder's Form - Attachment 1.; Attachment 2. (Doctoral Schools)
  2. Letter of Intent - Attachment 3.
  3. Confirmation of a maintenance grant - applies only to those who want to apply for a grant with additional funding for the less privileged. The certificate must prove the applicant is receiving a social grant at the time of submitting the application documents.
