Prospects after graduation

Working with employers – The University of Gdańsk works closely with the largest local employers. This means that our students have many opportunities for internships, and also real chances of future employment.

Supporting enterprise – Students who see their future in running their own business have at their disposal the Academic Enterprise Incubators and also city science and technology parks, which aim to support innovatory businesses. The Pomeranian Voivodeship is home to the Gdańsk Science and Technology Park, and the Pomeranian Science and Technology Park in Gdynia. These are places that stimulate the development of innovative ideas, and offer support in making a commercial success of those ideas. The Parks possess well equipped laboratory facilities, office space, and conference rooms. The Enterprise Incubator in Czernie (near Człuchów) and the Gdańsk Enterprise Incubator “STARTER” have been in operation since 2011.  The region also has an Industrial-Technological Park in Kwidzyn (KPPT), a Technological Incubator in Słupsk (SIT), and a Baltic Industrial Park. The Pomeranian Special Economic Zone also plays an important role in the region’s economic activity, gathering together many production companies.
