Accommodation

The University of Gdansk offers accommodation in dormitories located in Gdansk and Sopot. The safety of residents is assured by the University’s professional security guards. Cost of accommodation depends on the dorm but here is no need to pay for dormitory in advance. A monthly refundable deposit for dormitory will be required which should be paid upon arrival.

Price list for accommodation in academic year 2025/2026

Depending on the particular dormitory, facilities include kitchens and quiet rooms for study. There are shared laundry rooms available for the residents. Some washing machines are operated with tokens available to buy at the reception (1 washing = 1 token = 4,50 PLN). The iron is available upon request.

Double and triple rooms are available. You will be provided with a pillow and a blanket only; however, we recommend getting your own set of duvets, pillows and covers as well as towels, cutlery, mugs, plates, cooking utensils, pots and pans.Upon your arrival, you may apply for Internet access which is included in the standard rent. There is no Wi-Fi in the dormitories, but an Ethernet cable connection can be provided upon earlier application. If you wish to use this service we encourage you to bring your own cable.
